Much ado about nuffin

Damn - as soon as she walked through the front door of the hospital, the contractions subsided. By the time we got to the 3rd floor, signed in, and got her on a machine, the contractions had stopped completely.

Her birthday is on Thursday - the last day to be born a Leo. Before this, we had joked that she would have a Leo this time , and not another Libra. I guess we still have 4 more days.

Haven't read the comments yet, but thanks in advance...

on the way

to the hospital - they want to check her out

Still waiting

waiting for the dr's office to call back...

It may be time

The wife is on the inlaws couch , and having contractions. Could it be time??

Dance in the Sacred Circle

My little brave, and the adorable "Princess" that invited him to dance.

Nansemond Tribal Pow Wow

I took the boys to a really cool Indian Festival. The Nansemond tribe, part of the Powhatan (Pocohantas related) had a huge Pow Wow in Suffolk, Va. It was so much better than the previous Indian Festivals we attended at Chesapeake. The Chesapeake one seemed very commercial. Almost like people "acting" like Indians. But this festival was quite a site.

A large section was roped off, referred to as the "Sacred Circle". At one point, they had a dance for couples. My understanding was that you had to be

invited in the sacred circle, so we stood at the entrance and waited. I had Lance to deal with, but Logan managed to make it in. An adorable little girl (he calls her an "Indian Princess" took his hand and they walked right on in. (That's my boy!)

I have some really good pics of the participants, but I wanted to post the pic with the boys in them first.

Suprise guest - not the baby though

Still no baby. The tentative scheduling for the csection is Sept 8th, but the wife is saying that she doubts the baby will wait that long. She says the baby has dropped, which neither of the other boys every did. She has random contractions that take her breath away (wish I still had that effect!)

Yesterday, we went to an India Festival - many pics and stories to follow.

Today, we were at the inlaws, just getting ready to go out front so the kids could ride their bikes, when a suprise guest came to the door. Delegate Paula J. Miller ofThe 87th House District - Norfolk, Virginia.

Good luck in the Upcoming elections.
